How To Create A Guest List

Why do I need a Guest List?

Your digital Guest List serves as the data source for your invitation delivery address printing, and its count will help informs the quantity of invitations you’ll need to order. Additionally, it's the simplest method to record RSVPs (attendee headcount) and keep track of gifts received, and thank-yous.

Tracking down addresses often takes longer than expected! It's never too early to start working on your list.

Important Note: The guest list you create for your first simcha will require the most effort! For future simchas, you’ll simply update addresses for guests who have moved and add any new names.

Which Digital List Tool Should I Use?

We recommend using Google Sheets to keep your lists organized. It’s available to anyone with a Gmail account. (If you don’t have one, consider creating one just to use Google Sheets — it’s free and easy to set up!)

We've created a convenient Google Sheets template with plenty of tips included to help you organize your list! See link below:

I've created a Guest List spreadsheet - Now What?

Begin by listing everyone you’d like to invite — including those who may not attend — as sending an invitation is a heartfelt way to include them in your simcha. We've created helpful guides to suggest who to add to your list and how to effortlessly collect addresses using Google Forms - see below:
